Welcome,
My name is Ms. Callan Finney, and I am thrilled to be your scholars 4th grade math teacher for the year! Teaching is my absolute passion and I love every day spent in the classroom watching students grow. I am thrilled to begin my second year at University Academy and my 4th year working in education. I believe every student can and will succeed, therefore students will be held to high expectations in all they do.
Our class will be a community of learners working together, with great respect for one another, to achieve all our goals, both academic and personal.
Family communication and involvement is always a priority, and I am always available for questions, comments, and or concerns. Please don't hesitate to reach out.
I am looking forward to working with you and your child to make this a fabulous year in 4th grade.

This young man is a new student to UA this year and is a phenomenal example of the qualities UA looks for in its students. He is a leader, a driven student, and always compassionate and caring towards his classmates.
