EXPECTATIONS

Ms. Finney's Academic Expectations 
  • Always do your best
     

  • Be responsible
     

  • Respect the learning environment
     

  • Be prepared to learn everyday

Expectations for Promotion

At the end of 4th Grade:

 

  • Students must score at least 60% on a final math assessment (This is Benchmark 4)
     

  • Students must score at least a 60% on the final ELA assessment (This is also Benchmark 4)
     

  • Students must average a 70% grade for the entire school year in all subjects.
     

  • Students must be reading and comprehending at or above grade level by the end of the academic school year as measured by:
     

    • Instructional Level T
      Lexile within the range of 650-700

Behavior Expectations
  • Respect yourself
     

  • Respect your peers
     

  • Respect the learning community 

Classroom Behavior Plan

 

  • First offense - Redirect & quick intervention
     

  • Second offense - Safe seat ( 5 minutes) or until you are ready to rejoin the community 
     

  • Third offense -  Buddy room and note home to parent/guardian
     

  • Fourth offense - Office referral
