Get to Know Me
About me
I grew up in Northern California in a small mountain town where we averaged 12ft of snow this past year. I come from a family of educators, my mother was an elementary school teacher and my father was high school principal. So, its safe to say I LOVE school. I played sports all throughout my childhood, and went on to play volleyball in college I am currently the Head Volleyball Coach at UA. After graduating with a masters in Business Systems Management, I managed a start-up company in the San Francisco Bay Area. Three years ago, I was started working in the same elementary school I attended as a child. It was during this time, that I fell in love with teaching and decided to make a career change. Now I am starting my 2nd year at UA and I am thrilled to be your scholars Math teacher and mentor this year.
My Education

I graduated from the University of Oregon with a BA in psychology and a minor in business. I went on to Graduate school and earned a Masters in Business Systems Management. Additionally, I will be working towards a Masters in Education throughout the year at University of Missouri Saint Louis.
